65 Degrees

I am so excited to finally have a little taste of Spring. I did not think we would experience warmer weather this soon, after last week's snow. Crazy weather! I have been waiting to break out these Zara gladiators, and today was just the perfect day to do so. 

We went to one of our regular Saturday adventure spots - Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment Center. They hold a weekly event called the Artist market, where local artists feature their work for purchase. Of course we can't leave Lowe Mill without stopping at our favorite local sweet shop {Pizelle's Confection's} for some of the most beautifully and equally decadent handcrafted truffles!

A Day In Florence, AL {Pt.1}

Being a lover of local good eats, I knew I needed to take a trip to Florence {Alabama} as soon as I heard about this new restaurant - Odette! Located in downtown Florence, Odette creates their dishes with locally sourced out ingredients {which obviously made me love them THAT much more!}. I tried the Chilaquiles {from their Brunch menu - only served on Saturdays}, while theHubs got the Braised Chicken French Dip, and the kids ordered from the equally appealing kid's menu =) If you think good eats is all Odette has to offer, you are wrong! They also have a retail space that features select curated goods.
